Canada-U.S. Border Is More Bizarre Than You Thought (VIDEO)

WATCH: The Canada-U.S. Border Is Way Weirder Than You Thought

If you think the Canada-U.S. border is one of the most boring places on Earth, you're in for a surprise.

A new video on the quirkier aspects of the border from the popular educational YouTube channel CGPGrey has been watched more than a million times since Wednesday. It's not hard to see why.

Did you know there is 6 meter "no touching zone" where all the trees have been removed across the entire 8,800 km span of the border? How about that the division between the countries isn't even vaguely straight, but rather made up of 900 different zigzagging lines? Or what about that, despite declarations of love and affection, Canada and the U.S. are still fighting over several pieces of land?

And here we thought the idea to build a fence across the 49th parallel was bizarre.

Were you surprised by any of the facts in the video? Got a crazy border story of your own? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
